At first, there is an epitaph, with name, date of birth and death. The gravestone is inscribed with a stereotyped eulogy: loving daughter, wife, mother. Essentially nothing is known of the person buried below. A deeper almost mystical apparition is revealed as the writing becomes illegible through the exposure of the elements of time. The defunct has mysteriously revisited and corrected the stone’s remembrance. Secrets suspected but not yet proven. Cryptic messages from beyond appear for those who would see.
